Husband and wife, parents to 3 beautiful little girls, and the heart behind this business (which is really our fourth child).

Mike began The Heritage Forge in 2013 when he was working full-time as a farrier, as a creative outlet and a way to repurpose the used horseshoes that were piling up.

After getting married in 2019, Elise came alongside Mike to help manage the business side of things, allowing Mike the creative freedom to continue growing the business.

Our Story

From horseshoe art, to branding irons, to mini branding irons - we have always taken this business in the direction that our customers ask us to.

In a world that is becoming more automated and less human, we strive to keep things real and provide you with a mom-and-pop experience.
