We’re Mike and Elise — husband and wife, parents to three rootin' tootin' young daughters, and the heart behind this small, family-run business crafting custom branding irons and horseshoe art. From our workshop in Southern California, we proudly ship our products across the United States and around the world. Mike is the creative visionary behind the business, always learning new skills so that we can continue to say "YES" to our customers! Elise, a dental hygienist and full-time mom, helps manage the business side.

Mike spent years working as a farrier, forging horseshoes and working with horses while earning a deep respect for the traditions of the western lifestyle. The Heritage Forge was born as he began making art out of the used horseshoes he accumulated. As demand grew and Mike's metalwork evolved, so did the business!

As Bible-believing Christians, our faith guides everything we do. We believe in honest work, treating people right, and making products that reflect integrity and quality. You’ll always get real-human service straight from the horse's mouth — no bots, no call centers.

In 2018, we were one of the first companies to introduce Mini Branding Irons. 

These small but mighty tools opened a world of possibilities for our clients —  from customizing cowboy hats to branding wedding favors.
